• Advising on corporate acquisitions in Latin America and the United States. He recently assisted a client with more than thirty acquisitions of ISPs in thirteen Latin American countries, not only handling the preliminary due diligence, tax structuring, drafting and revision of the acquisition documents and final legal opinion, but also coordinating the work of local firms regarding the execution of all post closing requirements such as foreign investment registration and application for licenses to operate in each country.

• Advising multinational internet and telecommunications clients regarding their corporate structures and operations.

• Creating estate and asset protection structures. He regularly advises clients about how to mitigate adverse tax consequences (i) when selling their interest in Venezuelan entities and (ii) as a consequence of the new Income Tax Law establishing the principle of global taxation.

• Safeguarding intellectual property rights throughout Latin America and Europe.
